Racism? Yeah, right. A simple handshake and we forget it ever happened!!

Seth Blatter is a man known for opening mouth and inserting significant portions of his body. But his latest verbal flub-a-dub might cost him his job.

Blatter, when asked about the issue of racism in soccer, said, "On the field of play, I deny that there is racism. If you had a confrontation during the match, you shake hands, and when the game is over, it is over."

So, no matter how egregious the words, a handshake ends all problems.

Uh, no. Needless to say the calls for Blatter to go are being heard loudly and from many quarters.

Blatter has survived other FIFA scandals during his reign, though perhaps it is unfair to put "FIFA" and "scandal" together in this sentence or in this situation.

Whether Blatter is out of touch, in denial, clueless or something else, it seems likely that he'll be brought down by own words.
