Jim "Tattoo" Tressel might be walking the sidelines next season

Get ready for this -- Jim Tressel. who resigned in disgrace at Ohio State, might be a head coach next season.

And would you believe it might be in...the National Football League?

The Indianapolis Star suggests Mr. Tressel is one of the top candidates to be the Colts new head football coach.
The Colts have talked with former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel on two occasions and interviewed New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr. and Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray.
It's believe their list of prospects also includes Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer and former Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress.
Read that again, carefully. He has been interviewed twice, which automatically means he's a top-tier candidate. CBSSports.com suggests hiring Mr. Tressel would certainly be a shocker.
As WBNS-TV in Columbus is reporting (via the Cleveland Plain Dealer), Tressel already has had two interviews for the chance to replace Jim Caldwell, and the second one occurred Friday when owner Jim Irsay flew to Sarasota, Fla., where Tressel has a home, to talk with the former Ohio State coach.

If Indianapolis was to hire Tressel, it would be a stunning development.

On Thursday, CBSSports.com’s Mike Freeman talked to a source about the Colts possibly speaking to Tressel, who worked with the franchise as a game day consultant this season, and that source told him that there is “no way in hell” the franchise would consider it.
Dear Peyton Manning. Leave.
