You can stoppa those votes about PIPA

Politico sent the following news alert at 9:27 a.m. EST:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has put off Tuesday's vote on anti-piracy legislation, according to his spokesman. "In light of recent events, I have decided to postpone Tuesday's vote on the PROTECT IP Act," Reid said in a statement, according to a tweet from his communications director, Adam Jentleson.
Whatever the merits of PIPA (and its corresponding legislation SOPA), the intensity of the scrutiny of both ensured that our politicians would not have the stomach to go through with a vote that would have ended in defeat.

No, this is not the end of PIPA; the legislation will be revised and streamlined, and then another attempt will be made at passing it. Let's see what Americans think of version two.
